The 21st International specialized exhibition of power-saving technologies, gas-supply, heating and air conditioning systems MOLDENERGY 2017 is over.
The only exhibition project where recent achievements in the field of energy-saving technologies, as well as advanced technologies in the field of energetics are displayed, the exhibition MOLDENERGY 2017 was held from March 22 to 26 on the fairgrounds of the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo.

This year, 79 companies from Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Ukraine presented their products and technologies at the exhibition. Out of them, 32 companies took part in MOLDENERGY for the first time.
MOLDENERGY was held on an exhibition area of 3000 sq. m. It was visited by 8,100 person: from Germany, the Netherlands, Moldova, Romania, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, the Czech Republic. 90% of visitors to the exhibition are specialists of the industry, including CEOs, managers, administrators, engineers, builders, electricians.
The Agency for Energy Efficiency, official partner of the exhibition, presented in its stand "The Atlas of Wind Energy Resources of the Republic of Moldova". The Atlas is made in the form of interactive maps, where real-time data are given for measurements of wind force at altitudes of 50, 100 and 150 meters, throughout the country. Presenting the Atlas at the Agency's stand, Ion Cozma, Deputy Director General of AEE, noted that, according to the conducted studies and data of interactive maps, "Moldova has the potential for generating electricity with the help of wind turbines. High-efficiency wind farms can be built on approximately 6.8% of the territory of Moldova.”
IDomus, another official partner of MOLDENERGY 2017, presented the project of the first “smart” apartment house in Moldova, whose basic subsystems provide safe and energy-efficient operation of the entire residential complex.
One of the most important sections of the exhibition was dedicated to renewable energy sources. This year, the participants of MOLDENERGY presented a number of novelties in this field. For instance, Cvadro Term SRL demonstrated geothermal pumps Diplomat Inverter with inverter compressor Danfoss, and Global Geosolar SRL presented geothermal pumps of the famous Swedish brand NIBE.
Among renewable energy sources, recently a close attention is paid to solar energy as the main direction of energy development. In this segment at the exhibition, Oguzenergy SRL presented solar installations SOLER, while Prom Solar SRL introduced the economical and safe solar collectors SOLAR FOX.
Innovations in the field of energy-saving technologies were also present. The company K-Flex Ukraina offered for the first time at the exhibition a new generation of thermal insulation materials, in particular from foamed rubber, as well as insulating rolls and tubes. Geotermal SRL presented solutions in the construction of heat-saving living spaces.
Exhibitors presented a wide range of solutions and products in the field of electrical engineering, including regulating equipment and power tools. A number of companies demonstrated new developments in ventilation and air conditioning systems from such brands as Toshiba and Skyworth.
Novelties were also presented at the stand of Energocompletcons SRL: a modern closed medium voltage switchgear of the ROTOBLOK type, configured from separate standard cells with different outfittings.
Odeskabel Moldova presented a novelty in the Moldovan market of electro-installation equipment: innovative electrical and information systems of residential buildings - Valena Life and Valena Allure. As elements of the "smart house", the systems represent a complete set of switches and sockets, with exclusive frames and effective solutions for home and office spaces.
Within the framework of the business program of the exhibition two seminars were held. The Energy Efficiency Agency conducted a seminar on resource development in the field of wind energy. Potential investors, representatives of central and local public authorities, specialists in energy enterprises, representatives of diplomatic missions and profile associations took part in the seminar. At the other seminar, the features of energy-saving equipment from the company Di & Trade Engineering S.R.L. were demonstrated.
